Privacy Policy
Last updated: 29 September 2026
This policy explains what information Tokisha collects when you host an event or take part as a guest, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Hosts: account details such as your name and email address, event details, guest lists you upload, and billing information needed to process payments.
- Guests: the photos, videos, comments, reactions and messages you choose to share, plus the name and email address you give when you sign in, RSVP or leave a Best Wishes message.
- Technical data: device, browser and usage information needed to run and secure the service.
How we use it
- To run your event: invitations and RSVPs, the live photo wall, moderation, albums and memory stories.
- To send service emails such as RSVP confirmations, reminders and event updates.
- To keep the platform safe, including moderation of uploaded content.
- To provide support and improve the service.
We do not sell personal information.
Who can see event content
Photos and videos are shared within the event they were uploaded to. The event host and their moderators control what appears on the live photo wall and who receives albums and memory stories after the event.
How long we keep it
Event galleries stay available for 90 days after the event so hosts can download and share them. Account information is kept while your account is active and deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how our public pages are used, only if you accept analytics cookies in the banner. If you reject them, no analytics script is loaded. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. Private event pages are never tracked.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, and guests can ask a host to remove content they shared. To make a request, please contact us.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top.
